What is it?
Extreme 11 v2 – Windows 11 Version 25H2 (build 26200.5074) is Microsoft’s 2025 feature update for Windows 11. It is delivered as an enablement package if you are upgrading from version 24H2. That means the update mainly unlocks new features rather than reinstalling the entire operating system, making the process faster and smoother.
New and Improved Features
- Redesigned Start Menu – Wider layout with more pinned apps, improved “All apps” view, and the option to remove the “Recommended” section.
- Dark Mode in File Explorer dialogs – More system dialogs such as copy, move, and delete now match the dark theme.
- Notification Center Upgrade – Full clock display, including seconds, now appears on secondary monitors.

Removed or Deprecated Features
- PowerShell 2.0 – The outdated version is fully removed; users should migrate to modern versions like PowerShell 5.1 or 7.x.
- WMIC (Windows Management Instrumentation Command-Line) – The legacy command-line tool for system management has been removed.
- Other legacy apps and features – Older features already deprecated in previous releases remain unsupported, such as Windows Mixed Reality, WordPad, and Windows Information Protection.
